Dr. Thomashefsky was a pioneer in Santa Barbara, being among the first physicians in the area to recognize and treat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. The practice operated for many years, providing specialized care to patients with these complex conditions.
In 2017, Dr. Thomashefsky voluntarily surrendered his medical license following a state investigation into a Hepatitis C outbreak. This marked the closure of the practice.
